Four hoteliers pack their bags and travel to each other's property, judging each one along the way. The hotelier with the highest star rating at the end will win the coveted $25,000 prize! "Accidental hotelier" Leslee of Midtown Manhattan's Seton Hotel is up against former magazine editor Monique, of Brooklyn's historic Akwaaba Mansion; Jeremy of the uber-hip Sanctuary Hotel in New York City's Times Square; and Lisa of the modern, industrial-chic Z NYC Hotel in Long Island City, Queens. The 60-room Seton Hotel kicks off the competition, which was built in the 1930's as an apartment building, with many of its rooms one-of-a-kind. After impressing the guest hoteliers with her venue's swanky renovated lobby, Leslee gives these New York natives the hard sell on her hotel's best feature - its location - by arranging a private tour of Grand Central Terminal and a trip to a cabaret. Next, the hoteliers travel to Brooklyn to Monique's intimate 4-bedroom Akwaaba Mansion in Bedford-Stuyvesant, which was built in 1860 and has maintained many of its original architectural details. Monique highlights the area's charm with a walking tour of the neighborhood, followed by afternoon tea and scones. The group lets out their inner artists during a local bar's paint night, and enjoy a homemade Southern-style breakfast the next morning. Then, it's back to Manhattan to experience Jeremy's trendy Sanctuary Hotel in Times Square. Jeremy showcases his hotel's wide range of amenities with cocktails at the bar, a mouth-watering Moroccan dinner on the all-season rooftop restaurant and indulging them with a 23-karat sundae at yet another on-site eatery. The final leg of the journey sends the group to Lisa's Z NYC Hotel in Long Island City, Queens - a former industrial and now chic waterfront neighborhood. The hotel offers spectacular postcard views of the New York City skyline from each of its 100 rooms. After touring the area and sipping drinks on the 360-degree roof deck, the competitors enjoy a boisterous dinner at the hotel. Who will take home the grand prize?
